Our Story

A Family Legacy Since 1995

Chai & Puff Lounge began as Mama Nkechi's roadside tea stall in Onitsha Market. What started with a single kettle of steaming zobo and a tray of freshly fried puff puff has grown into one of the most beloved traditional cafes in Eastern Nigeria.

Today, our lounge in Enugu preserves that same market-square warmth - complete with highlife music, wooden benches, and the unmistakable aroma of spices. We do not just serve food; we serve nostalgia.

Our recipes have been passed down through three generations. The zobo is still brewed the old way - with sorrel, ginger, and cloves simmered for hours. The puff puff is mixed by hand every morning at 5am, just like Mama taught us.
